Twin Geyser bubbled and boiled in 2009, seemingly so close to a major eruption. The colors in the rocks of this thermal feature come from iron oxide. Add in the blues of the water and Twin Geyser shows itself as the colorful geyser it can be. The continual boiling made it a delight to capture with a slow shutter. Turning it to a digital photo watercolor brought this image to what I envisioned when releasing the shutter.
